For the past few years I have wanted to travel and do missionary work through an organization. I had friends go and come back saying it was the best experience of their life and they would not trade it for anything. I always wanted to have that experience, I just never knew when I would have the opportunity.

I am currently a freshman at Azusa Pacific University, a small christian school in Southern California. However, I have been at home this semester due to COVID-19 and the university proceeding with remote learning. This semester has been very challenging for me in many ways. I have struggled emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I know that I cannot do another semester of online, remote school.

I didn’t know what taking a semester off would like, God remind me of my desire to do mission work and travel. The Lord opened the to door WorldRace and it all fell into place very quickly with little hesitation and lots of peace. I am beyond excited to embark on this new journey. I am overjoyed with the thought that I will be in community with other believers sharing our Love for Jesus in a variety of ways.

I am so blessed to have this opportunity and to have so many people supporting me. I can’t wait to see what the Lord is already preparing and how I will learn and grow form this trip.
